Android tablets have been around for a while now, but most of them failed to impress general public in comparison to Apple’s iPad. But here we have new addition from Asus, which combines best of both world – tablet and laptop.

Tablet has 10.1 inch screen with a Gorilla Glass covered 10 point multitouch 1280 x 800 resolution. Tt shows off fantastically broad viewing angles and rich saturated colours in up to 1080p video and has a Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage. Textured back panel holds a 5MP camera, and the Transformer weighs 680g, comfortable to hold and clear to read.

Tablet comes with optional keyboard dock that not only makes typing easier – it also doubles the battery life and boosts connectivity. You can buy device as a tablet or with keyboard dock. So when you are on the move, you can take the tablet with you, when you are at home, you can dock it and use it as a laptop. When docked, tablet will last for 16 hours, since dock has an additional battery.

Tablet runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and with hundreds of thousands of apps in the Android market, this tablet truly interesting device.

And that was awful coz then you cannot have your music and be reachable for anyone. Now this problem is solved. Officially Nokia releases “Nokia bicycle charger kit“. So when you start to cycle it starts to charge your phone, charging starts from 6 km/h, which is approximately walking speed, but when you reach 12 km/h speed it becomes as same as normal Nokia charger!!! Do not let your pedal power to be gone for free, use it!

Is it a day of the start of the end of USB?  Today 24/02/2011 Intel is about to present new information transfer technology that is gonna blow up the market. The “Light peak” is able to transfer up to 10 Gbit/s in both upload and download speed, that is much and much faster than new USB3.0, this technology is most likely will be seen first on “Apple MAC’s” products.

That is of course great to have this opportunity and incredible speed, but what about thousands of gadgets that work on our usb ports? :) Well we will have to shift for the new ones on gadgets on optical basis!!!
